Hey... you... yeah, you... news networks across America....

Dear NBC News, ABC News, CBS News and ESPECIALLY CNN and FOX:

Guys, look-- people are dying in Afghanistan... Iraq... elsewhere.... North Korea and Iran appear to have the bomb, suggesting that they were the ones we should have worried a little more about all along.... we have a Secretary of State who's perpetually had her head up her ass, even when she was an alleged academic at Stanford.... there's starvation, disease, flooding, illiteracy, religious strife, breakthroughs in medicine to report, etc., etc.... so PLEASE....

NO MORE FUCKIN' STORIES ON THE LAME-ASSED "RUNAWAY BRIDE" CRAP!! NO ONE CARES, DESPITE YOUR BEST ATTEMPTS TO KEEP RAMMING IT DOWN OUR THROATS BECAUSE YOU NO LONGER PAY REASONABLE MONEY FOR ANYTHING RESEMBLING JOURNALISTS!

(ahem)... thank you for your attention to my request. The medication has kicked in now, and life seems better somehow. I am the new Number Two. You are Number Six. :)

May First- it's HERE!

Weeeelll there ya go, Zebbites... at 6:01 am EDT this morning, I did something I've only had to do a couple of times in the past five years... I purposefully took PLANET ZEB! *off* the air. But the outage only lasted approximately four minutes, until at 6:05 am it went back ON THE AIR... in its new 64K, 44 kHz MP3Pro streaming bitrate, up from its old one of 56K, 22 kHz!!!! :)

The verdict so far? I've listened with both MP3Pro Encoder-enabled players and non-MP3Pro-capable players. The stream sounds better to both sets of listeners, which is the reason I'm glad I did my homework before I decided to make this switch. NO ONE suffers... EVERYONE benefits... and if you're a Live365 VIP subscriber (see "ad-free!" link on the planetzeb.net home page), you get a FREE Radio365 player (which is now the way I listen here) AND the stream is ad-free.... AND you get the crisper, nicer high-ranges of the new MP3Pro encoding in their full stereo glory!!!

By the way, if you prefer Winamp, search the web for "Thomson MP3Pro decoder for Winamp." It'll allow you to go from 64K 22kHz listening to full 64K 44 kHz listening, which makes quite a difference!

I hope you enjoy the NEW Planet Zeb!... hopefully, every single one of the much-appreciated family of listeners around the world will benefit from the change and enjoy it! But let me know if you run into problems, issues, etc. by using the "feedback" link at the station website. I'll get back to you ASAP if you need help enjoying this brand-spankin'-new benefit of Zebbism. :)

Cheers! And happy May Day! And all that rot!
